An unidentified terrorist was killed on Tuesday in an encounter with security forces in Anantnag while three alleged "hybrid" militants of the Lashkar-e-Tayiba were arrested during an anti-militancy operation in Srinagar and Budgam districts of Jammu and Kashmir.
The three soldiers are being quizzed on suspicion that they might have knowingly or unknowingly leaked information about Aurangzeb's movements.

Three Jaish-e-Mohammed militants were killed in the Drach area of Shopian, while a Lashkar-e-Tayiba militant was killed in the Moolu area of the south Kashmir district, the police said.
